A local creative process

From start to finish, our creative process is distinctly local. We illustrate the places we love in our home county of Essex, and in neighbouring Suffolk.

When we visit places to prepare to illustrate them, we travel using an electric car, charged on a green energy tariff using 100% renewable energy. At other times, we travel by bicycle.

Our Giclée art prints are printed in our studio, on that same green energy tariff. Meanwhile, our high-defintion art prints and our greeting cards are printed by a Suffolk-based printer - one of only 40 printers in the UK to be certified as carbon neutral by the World Land Trust. They also have the ISO14001;2015 Environmental Management System accreditation.

Ethical materials

From paper to packaging, we endeavour to always use ethically-sourced materials.

Our Giclée art prints and our greeting cards are packaged plastic-free, while our high definiton A3 art prints use a biodegradable and compostable film sleeve (EN13432).

Our high-definition art prints and greeting cards are printed on paper from responsible sources, as certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC).

Wherever possible we source our materials from local and UK-based companies, so as to avoid unnecessary emissions from international shipping.
